Nothing could be simpler! Visit the page of the creator that you want to support, enter the amount you wish to give him/her per month, or for the next content he/she publishes (depending on what it is specified), and click the “tip!” button.
On Tipeee, a creator offers users the possibility to support him/her financially for the creation of a specific type of content that he/she provides on a recurring basis. It is the responsibility of the content creator to explain how often he/she provides this content, and why.
Tip per month:
The tipper agrees to pay the creator a certain amount for each full month. Obviously, you can modify the amount of your tip at any time, or even cancel it.
Tip per content:
The tipper agrees to pay the creator for each item of content he/she publishes. But to avoid overflow, the tipper can set a monthly tip maximum, not to be exceeded even if the creator were to be particularly creative in a given month.
Let’s return to the example of our Youtube comedian. The comedian usually makes 2 videos per month. tipping the creator 3€ would then mean giving 3€ per new video posted. But as a Tipper, you may not want this to cost you too much, so you can specify a limit of 9€ per month that you don’t want to exceed.
So, if the comedian makes 2 videos in the month, you’ll tip him/her 6€. If he/she makes 3 videos because he/she’s been particularly creative, you’ll tip him/her 9€. But, if he/she makes 4 videos or more, your tip will be remain 9€ per month.
You can decide to only give once. To do so, simply enter the amount of your tip and confirm. On the next page, you will then be able to check the box “I’m tipping this time only” before validating your tip.
ATTENTION: If you decide to support the creator with a unique tip, you will be debited right away, therefore you can not cancel or change the tip.
In this case, you will only be debited when the current month is completed, as with a monthly tip.
Whenever a creator provides content for which he/she wants to be tipped, the creator must validate this content with his/her community. So, for each “eligible” content, you will receive an email with the link to the content in question and the possibility to alert Tipeee’s team if it doesn’t fulfill the expected promise. In this way, Tipeee keeps an eye on the validity of all content and can react before the payment of tips for the content in question.
Yes, at any time you can change or cancel your tip pledges for content that hasn’t yet been published. To do so, go to your account in the “My Tips” section or directly on the creator’s Tipeee page and simply change the amount of your tip.
If you decide to choose to support the Creator with a unique tip (“I’m tipping this time only”), you will be debited right away, therefore you can not cancel or change this particular tip. On Tipeee multiple payment methods are available: credit card, PayPal, Sofort, etc. We will ask for your payment information when you tip the first time. It will be recorded for your next operations (you can amend it at any time).
Debits of tips per month and per content are made once a month, on the 6th, and include all the tips pledged in the previous month.
Debits of single tips are made when realising your operation.
You can use PayPal as a payment method to tip your favorite creators.To do so is very simple: after choosing the amount of your tip and your rewards, select PayPal as payment method, then click the “Pay with PayPal” button. You will then be redirected to a PayPal window in which you will be asked to enter your PayPal email address. The window will close immediately once you have validated your email address.
Once this is done, don’t forget to confirm your tip by clicking the “Submit and Continue” button at the bottom right of the page.
Yes, fees are added to every purchase done by PayPal and credit card (no fees will be added for transactions made using Paysafecard). Every payment provider applies different fees. These fees represent a small and degressive amount from your support. The content creator is responsible for the choice and delivery of the rewards. For all inquires regarding the delivery of the rewards to which you are entitled as a tipper, please contact the content creator directly via the platform messaging system. If you encounter any difficulties, click here and our customer service can assist you.
Just click “Forgot your password?” on the login page and enter the email address of your Tipeee account. An email with a link to change your password will be sent to you. You can change your password whenever you want by visiting the “My account” page.
You have to use your previous email address to login. You can then update the email address by going to your account page.
If you use Facebook or YouTube/Google+ to login, your account will be automatically updated.
If you don’t have a Tipeee account yet, use Facebook or YouTube/Google+ to login. It’s faster and simpler! To do so, click “Log in with Facebook” or “Log in with Google” button when signing in.
If you already have a Tipeee account and the email address provided is the same used for your Facebook or Google account, the connection will be automatically made when you will click the relevant button.
